Expert Clinical Pilates in Essendon.
Melbourne Sports Physiotherapy has a distinct approach to Clinical Pilates in Essendon.
Clinical Pilates is a safe, effective and specific method of retraining the strength and core stabilising muscles in your body.
Our small group classes are tailored to your individual needs and requirements at each visit, so that every time you come in we will ensure your body gets exactly what it needs. We only hire experienced Physiotherapists trained in Clinical Pilates to teach in our Pilates studio.
We utilise state of the art Reformers, Wunda Chair and Cadillac Trapeze Table to complete your strengthening and lengthening.
All Clinical Pilates consultations are claimable under private health insurance for anyone with 'physiotherapy extras'.
Clinical Pilates: The Melbourne Sports Physiotherapy Approach.
- Group classes are tailored to your needs- class sizes are small but friendly, with only 3 patients to 1 physio. We feel this is essential to getting the most out of Pilates, it’s what sets us apart from the larger group choreographed classes.
- Our physios get to know you: they ask you how you are and how your body is. We keep detailed records of each of your sessions. We always work on your specific rehab needs.
- Our studio is full of the latest equipment. We won't just have you doing mat work in these classes.
- We can incorporate specific sports conditioning into your class, whether you are training for a marathon, football matches, netball games or for skiing.
- Melbourne Sports Physiotherapy specifically cater for pre and post pregnancy, within our standard classes. We also have a Mums & Bubs class, so you can bring your little ones.
- 1:1 sessions are great if you are totally new to Pilates, as a re-focussing session, or as ongoing sessions should you prefer.
