Jess consults from the Blackburn clinic
Jess worked initially in the hospital rehabilitation setting where she developed the foundations of physiotherapy seeing a range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditons. She then progressed into private practice due her skills and special interest in sporting and musculoskeletal injuries.
She is currently completing her Masters of Sports Medicine at Melbourne University with completion and titling due in 2027, so you can be confident Jess is at the forefront of current treatment literature, giving her the best insight as to the most efficient way to get you feeling better again.
Jess has previous experience as the head physiotherapist at Alamein Football Club and as trainer at the Western Bulldogs AFLW.
Jessica has a special interest in your rehabilitation, such as ACLs and other knee pain, ankle sprains, shoulder dislocations and soft tissue or tendon pathologies. With a wealth of experience treating both acute and chronic conditions she will ensure patients are knowledgeable about their diagnosis and the optimal management pathway.
Jess utilises both hands on treatment, as well as combining exercise therapy for optimal evidence-based treatment. She is also dry needling qualified. She has a strong referral network to facilitate imaging or specialist opinion if required.
Jess prioritises strength and conditioning training into your rehabilitation, and she is often found in the gym, as she has a history of powerlifting and group fitness training. She also appreciates everyone’s life is unique and treatment needs to fit to your individual needs and circumstances.
She is footy obsessed, and outside of the clinic you might find her at the MCG cheering on her beloved hawks or finding hidden locations to walk her dog.
She is excited to meet you and assist in the achievement of your goals.
