Josh consults from the Malvern East clinic.
Josh Banky is a Titled Exercise and Sports Physiotherapist with extensive experience in elite sport, orthopaedic rehabilitation, and the management of complex sporting injuries.
He completed his Master of Sports Physiotherapy in 2015 and Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2008, building a career focused on helping athletes and active individuals return to their best.
Josh has a particular passion for sports injury management and post-operative rehabilitation, having worked closely with leading orthopaedic surgeons for many years managing a wide range of upper and lower limb conditions and surgical procedures.
Since 2012, Josh has been a physiotherapist with Tennis Australia, providing care through the Tennis Australia National Academy, Australian professional tournaments, and the inaugural Australian Open each January.
His elite sporting experience also includes roles with Collingwood Football Club, Melbourne Storm Rugby League Club and his ongoing position as Head Physiotherapist for the Victoria Country football team.
Alongside his clinical work, Josh contributes to the education and development of physiotherapists through teaching within Sports Physiotherapy courses and professional development programs.
Outside of the clinic, Josh enjoys supporting his beloved Collingwood Football Club, spending time on the golf course, and keeping up with his two boys.
