Cooper consults from the Essendon clinic
Cooper Bailey is a passionate physiotherapist who takes a goal-oriented approach to rehabilitation, working closely with you to help youmove better, perform at your best, and return to the activities you enjoy.
He believes that successful rehabilitation is built on a strong understanding of each person's unique circumstances and combines hands-on treatment, targeted exercise prescription, and education to achieve meaningful long-term outcomes.
Cooper has a particular interest in the assessment and management of sporting injuries, especially those involving the shoulder, knee, and ankle.
Drawing on his strength and conditioning experience, he focuses on not only resolving symptoms but also addressing the underlying factors that contribute to injury and performance limitations.
In addition to sports injuries, Cooper regularly works with individuals experiencing muscle and tendon injuries, running-related complaints and post-operative conditions. His approach aims to build confidence, improve function, and support you through a safe return to sport, work and everyday activities.
Away from the clinic, Cooper is the Lead Physiotherapist at Hoppers Crossing Football Club and also provides game-day support for the Brisbane Lions across AFL, AFLW, and VFL programs when they play in Melbourne.
These roles have provided extensive experience in injury rehabilitation, load management, and return-to-performance planning across both community and elite sporting environments.
Cooper's experience across both elite and community football environments gives him a unique perspective on injury management and performance.
Working with professional athletes, while leading rehabilitation programs at a local football club, has developed his ability to translate high-performance principles into practical, achievable strategies for everyday athletes and active individuals.
This allows him to deliver care that is both evidence-based and realistic, helping people just like you achieve long-term results, regardless of your sporting level or experience.
Cooper's Special Interests include
- Knee Injuries
