Amanda consults from the Essendon clinic.
Amanda graduated in 2012 from Curtin University with a Graduate Entry Masters Physiotherapy in and has worked in both private practice, and within a vast range of sporting clubs.
Amanda draws on her specific basketball, netball and football sports physio roles to help you recover from all types of injuries. She uses her own vast sporting experience, in conjunction with her varied sports physiotherapy roles, to give you the best care and most effective return to sport treatment plans.
She has been the Physiotherapist for the Perth Redbacks from 2011-2013, the Sandringham Sabres Women’s squad, the Nunawading Spectres and the Frankston Blues in NBL1.
She also served as the Head Physiotherapist to Basketball Victoria in 2015 and for the National Championship winning U18 Girls team.
Amanda has also been a physiotherapist in the State Netball League in Western Australia, Indoor Netball Victoria and the Victorian Mens Netball team in 2020.
Amanda was a physiotherapist for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018. She is also a Rowing Australia Accredited Preferred Provider and is currently completing her Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy .
Amanda has represented South Australia in Rowing and Western Australia/Victoria in Netball and knows the requirements needed of an athlete and the injuries that can arise with various sports.
She has recently turned to football and plays for South Melbourne in the VAFA.
She has a special interest in return to sport for post partum athletes and exercise in pregnancy.
