Andrew graduated from Melbourne University in 2011 and is very close to completing a Master of Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy, on the way to being prestigsously titled as an APA Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist. Andrew’s main interests are in lower limb injury prevention and management, specifically hip and knee joint problems, tendon rehabilitation, surgery prevention and return to sport following surgery.
In the sporting arena, Andrew’s personal focus has been on basketball, having spent 3 seasons as Physiotherapist for the Nunawading Spectres men and women (NBL1) teams and a short stint with Melbourne United (NBL) as part of his Masters training.
Regardless of the injury, sport or activity, Andrew has gained valuable experience for the management of all sports and musculoskeletal injuries. Andrew incorporates a mixture of exercise retraining, sports-specific rehabilitation, manual therapy and dry needling into his management, with the aim of safe and swift return to sport and working activities.
